A Good Family Escape
The lagoon pools kept our kids entertained for hours, while we enjoyed coffee crafted by talented baristas. Don't miss the vibrant breakfast spread! For beach lovers, the location is just ideal for sunset strolls.

The grounds of the resort are beautiful, the garden are peaceful and relaxing and it is a lovely place to stay.
The fogging at 5.30am on the first day we arrived after a late arrival was a bit much. I udnerstand it needs to be done but it is very unpleasant. The spraying of chemicals 3x a week is not something I was expecting

The staff were wonderful, always smiling and so willing to help. The choice and quality of the food was excellent. The setting of the resort was beautiful, so green, despite the renovations.
We were presented with a letter on arrival which we took to be invite to the Garden Club, an invitation we took up. However on arrival and after receiving drinks we were told we would have to leave as we had not paid???? Neither the letter nor the website state this is an additional cost option, maybe I was being naive, I don't know, but my wife and I were left extremely embarrassed when informed, in front of other guests, that we could not stay!

It was just a nice choice for a weekend getaway in Legian with reasonable value. The staff were super kind and friendly, especially with my son. Bring some earplugs if you're near the main road as it can get noisy at night.

We had such an amazing stay with impeccable breakfast and fantastic themed dinner nights. the variety of pools kept us entertained every day. Though our room was as shown, we missed some activities due to our short stay. We'll definitely return!

I liked that it provided very well for our family holiday. Most of our needs were met.
2 things I was a bit disappointed with:1) The kids club was pathetic - it did not cater very well at all for our 3 kids (aged 5,7,9 years). They also went with the 3 children from another family accompanying us (thank God) as together they made their own entertainment. It was not very well organised, nor did it suit any child older than 4 years old, and it stank!!! The facility of a kids club was one of the key reasons we chose the Padma as my husband and I wanted to have some quality time together to shop & go out for lunch etc. (Previous positive experiences with kids clubs in Fiji had our hopes up). Sadly this did not happen as the kids refused to go back after their 1&1/2 hour experience whilst we played tennis. 2) The 2nd disappointing thing was the cost of food to eat dinner at the resort - given Bali food is cheap, but not always easy to get to with 3 kids tired from a day of swimming etc, it would have been convenient to just stay at the resort & eat before an early night to bed for them. However at approx $20-$25 AUD per person, therefore $100 AUD for our family to eat I thought this was too much. So instead we dragged 3 tired kids back out to the streeet to find little cheap, but good quality places to eat - I thought this could have been avoided with the restaurants at the resort (which by the way were mostly empty....)

Excellent breakfast options daily.
Our experience was disappointing. We struggled to find sun-beds at the pool, and it was annoying to see them reserved even when unoccupied. The staff claimed not to allow reservations, yet it reminded me of there were more guests than available chairs. This issue overshadowed our stay.
